Your pet must travel in a carrier measuring 44cm X 30 cm X 19cm. Make sure your dog can move inside the carrier.
Keep the pet container under the seat and rest your items in the overhead bin.
Passengers must fill out the onboard pet form either online or at the airport to bring their furry companions on board.
If you are opting for a checked pet, make sure that the combined weight of the pet and its container must not be more than 100 lbs.
Your dog must be vaccinated, and you must have valid documents regarding the same.
Dogs less than four months old cannot travel on Volaris Airlines flights.
Dogs may travel in the Window seat, except premium and emergency exit.
Which Dog Breeds are Restricted on Volaris Flights?
According to Volaris pet policy, certain dog breeds, like Bracephalic dogs and small dogs, are not allowed to fly on Volaris flights. Such animals are at higher risk of health complications during the flight.
